Chauncey Hardy, an american basketball player, died in hospital this evening after he had been beaten in a dance club from Giurgiu, Romania.
After a victory against Dinamo Bucharest, the american sportsman was partying with a few of his teammates from CSS Giurgiu in a night club in Romania.
At some point, around 4 o'clock in the morning, some unknown men attacked him. It seems that they have been quarreling for a while. Chauncey Hardy fell and hit his head. He was taken to the hospital. There, the doctors decided he must go into surgery. At that moment he was in a coma with a severe head injuries.
At around 8 o'clock in the evening, Hardy, only 23 years old, died on the hospital's bed.
The romanian police announced that they've started an investigation.
